Starting in 2012 and completed in mid-2017 the Royal Adelaide Hospital was designed to accommodate approximately 800 single-bed inpatient rooms with modern facilities, 40 technical operating suits (each of 65 m² in size), parking facilities for 2,300 cars and a helicopter launch pad. The hospital provides work for over 6,000 staff and the capacity to admit 85,000 patients per year.

Access Hardware designed and supplied door hardware specification for approximately 5,000 doors, supplied and installed automatic door operations, bathroom equipment and fitments, and provided a high security master key system.
