Victorian Stage 4 Restrictions COVID-19 Update

Dear Customer,

As you would be aware the continual developments with COVID-19 is effecting all of us in various ways. With the recent announcement from the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, on Monday 03.08.2020 regarding new restrictions around workplace operations, as the Access Hardware Group provides hardware and building supplies for trade, and essential locksmithing services nationally, our Victorian operations will continue to be 'Open (for on-site work)' through Stage 4 Restrictions.

Please note that Access Hardware (Victoria) will continue to receive supplier deliveries as well as service the trade via delivery or via the Victorian Trade Counter for customer pick-up’s.

Please also note, during Stage 4 Restrictions that non-trade customers will only be able to place orders via our Online Store, and will not be able to access the Victorian showroom or Trade Counter.

Additionally, there will be some adjustments to the way in which you shop with us. We continue to monitor, assess and respond to the impacts of COVID-19 and at present we have taken the appropriate and necessary precautions to minimise risk. 

1. Mandatory masks must be worn in branches (Victoria only)

Masks or a face covering must be worn at all times within our branches unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.

2. Social distancing Markings (Nationwide)

Social distancing measures are in place at all our trade counters and branches with social distancing markers on the floor and signage around the branch.

3. Scan in/out system (Nationwide)

When you visit any of our Access Hardware branches and remain instore for a period of 15 minutes or longer we will ask you to scan in/out of our system so we can retain customer information for a period of 28 days for quick contact tracing should it be required. 

4. Limit on customers in store (Nationwide)

There is limits in place on how many staff and customers can be in the trade counter at any period in time based on square footage of branch. If there is maximum capacity in-store you may be asked to wait outside until another customer leaves.

5. Shop online through our online store (Nationwide)
For customers who do not wish to visit a branch, or non-trade customers in Victoria, you can continue to place orders with us via our online store wherever you are located and have them shipped to most addresses in a timely manner. Reducing handling and removing the face-to-face aspect of purchasing products.‚Äč
