At the heart of any restricted keying system is key control which protects your financial investment and the integrity of your keying system.

The basis of Key Control is the complete documentation of any and all keys supplied for a lock or door within a restricted keying system. Restricted keying systems can be expensive and they represent a significant investment in the security of a site. That investment can be lost if there is no method of tracking the number and type of keys issued during the life of a system.

As part of any restricted keying system we build, Access Hardware keeps these records for all system cylinders and keys from the initial design of the system to the decommissioning stage, through to archiving of records. Our software logs all keys provided as well as all hardware fitted to each door of the project. We can tell you how many keys have been supplied and when they were issued.
