About the project

Due for completion at the end of 2021 Access Hardware worked throughout 2020 on the Aldinga (PPP) Super School. With the goal to take enrolments for the 2022 school year, the project involved the construction of a new school that can accommodate 1,675 students from kinder to year 12.

Access Hardware was engaged to supply timber door hardware and a master keying system utilising some of our key brands, including: dormakaba, ASSA ABLOY and Sabre.

The new school has been named Aldinga Payinthi College. Payinthi (/'bay-in-di'/) is a Kaurna Aboriginal word that means ‘to seek, look for, examine, be thinking’. The school will include facilities for students, teachers, parents and the wider community with the design of the school focused around creating contemporary learning spaces. The project is valued at an overall cost of over $100M.
